A few weeks ago, Kelli came across Primal Life Organics. PLO is Paleo skin- food made fresh when ordered in small batches from cold- pressed, organic oils.
Always searching for the best natural deodorant, I went ahead and ordered some of their products. I decided to try the sensitive skin deodorant, face wash, face moisturizer and hand repair lotion.
My order arrived within days of me getting to OK. What a better time to try out the deodorant than when unloading a moving truck in 90* weather! I immediately put some on and went to work.
A couple hours later, I was drenched in sweat, but my pits still felt dry =) And I didn't stink. I tried it out the next day when we ran into town, and I felt comfortable all day. I didn't feel like I needed to reapply during the day and I wasn't worried about that embarrassing pit sweat stains that normally sneak up on me during hot summer days.
The face wash is pretty awesome. It cleans great without making my face feel like it's dried out. I could have gone without the face moisturizer, but went ahead and tried it out. While it feels *greasy* going on, it absorbs quickly and there is no greasy shine after. As a bonus, my lips aren't chapped anymore!
The last item in my face and body package was the hand repair. I've used it a couple times and love how soft my hands feel. I put some on my daughter's sun burn last night and the burn is looking much better this morning. The burn doesn't look painful anymore.

I have been looking for a good natural deodorant as well. My order came in right after I got home from Crossfit. It was one of those days that I was not going to get a shower immediately so I decided to try out my unscented deodorant. I then decided that it was a good time to start rearranging the boys room. Three sweat filled hours later I was not smelly! To me, this is a big win.
I also bought the Cool Orange and Peppermint Dirty Mouth Primal Tooth Powder. You have to understand that this is not your store bought toothpaste, my kids haven't figured that out yet. There is no type of sweetener in them; just different types of clay, baking soda, and essential oils. Honestly, this took a little bit of getting used to at first. After three days of using it though I love it! My teeth are so clean! I also have noticed that my gums are no longer sore or bleeding after I brush.
My kids did not immediately love the Tooth Powder. They complained about the flavor, taste, and the fact that it wasn't in a tube. However, after the first day they were fine with it brushing like normal.
