I was sorting through some papers the other day and came across my goals for 2013.
Every year I break my goals down into categories- physical, spiritual, financial, lifestyle, homeschooling and business. I then try to have at least 2 goals in each category.
Some of the goals are specific (like running 1000 miles) and some are more general (like watching less TV).
It's interesting to see what I thought I would accomplish this year and compare it to what I actually did.
I'm not upset that I didn't reach a lot of the goals. I can't predict the future, so there were things I couldn't plan for. All I could do was roll with the punches and adjust my goals.
And by looking at what I didn't accomplish, I can better plan for next year's goals =)
So that's what I'm going to be spending the next couple of weeks planning out. Stay tuned for tips on how to plan your goals for the new year!
