We're experiencing an egg
boom here. Our hens are laying about 5 dozen eggs a week. So we're
having to get creative with what we're doing with them.
We typically hard boil
about 2 dozen a week for egg salad or snacking. Every once in awhile
we'll make deviled eggs.
But that still leaves
about 3 dozen a week to make into other meals.
We can only have scrambled
eggs or fried eggs so many times before we're tired of them. So then
we make egg bakes.
But even those get boring
after awhile.
So then I tried rice
pudding. It was delicious and the kids loved it, but we still need
more ideas...
My mother- in- love
dehydrated a dozen. That was... interesting.
I would make pickled eggs,
but I would be the only one eating those.
We need more ideas.
What's
your favorite way to prepare eggs?
I started a Whole30 (whole foods) eating plan and since I have cut out grains from my diet, I have been eating a lot of eggs for breakfast. I need some more ideas for eggs myself, I go between fried, scrambled, omelets, and hard boiled. Your egg bakes do look pretty good! Found you on the Clever Chicks Blog Hop.
